shoudl be a good one. The Islanders have put together an entertaining, fast club.
I like what's listed as their 3rd pairing on D.

We are playing terrible right now and our PK continues to be among the worst in the league. Any chance the Isles could nab John Stevens in the off season to be the head coach? ;)

Also, what are your fantasy expectations for Lewis? I might swap him for Gaustad.

Not likely. They probably didn't allow him to take the interviews that were requested last off-season because he is the "coach in-waiting" and they gave him a raise for doing so.

Wouldn't expect much from Lewis, unless you are in a league that counts defensive metrics.

I am very much looking forward to this one. I have sorta a soft spot for them as they aquired Butch Goring one of my favourite all time King and won the cup with him. I also want to see the upgraded defense and the two former leafs. I hope no injurys and a good physical game. I see martin/clutterbuck vs clifford or nolan (if he plays) fight occuring in the second. Go king go

If you make that trade i suggest you start a diet of boiled chicken ( i believe that the diet for ulcers) as you will develope stomach issues from seeing him miss the empty net and fail to convert on breakaways.:sarcasm: He is known as stone hands around here mostly.

How many teams are in your league that the likes of Lewis and Gaistad are making teams.

curious to see how Hickey has evolved with the Isles...
we should put up a few goals against halak....4-1 kings!!!

My expectations for Lewis is he got all the goal scoring out of his system last night. He'll probably end the season with another goal or two.

That is quite a bummer to hear. He would be a good fit for the Isles considering their needs.

Okay thanks.

It's not a trade, it would be a add/drop.

Chris Terry, Derek Dorsett, Mark Fayne, and Robyn Regher are currently a few of the best free agents at the moment. There is a huge need for RWers in the league and while Lewis is currently listed as a C, he could be switched to RW soon.

My expectations for Lewis is he got all the goal scoring out of his system last night. He'll probably end the season with another goal or two.

Okay, thanks.

Hey now, he's already ahead of his pace from last year, of going what, 40+ games without a goal? I'm going to make a very bold prediction and say he nets at least 5 this year, and has more than Stoll at years end. :sarcasm:

Also, how cool is it to look at the isles 2nd D pairing both being ex-kings :yo:

Lubo was a stud as a king. And although I will forever be pissed that DL passed on Alzer for Hickey, I had hopes for him.
Would be nice if that pairing became one of the Islander's strengths however not tomorrow.

No Williams tommorow. Thank goodness it wasn't his eye.

Justin Williams saw eye doctor this morning. Vision still a little blurry. Stick got him REALLY close to right eye.

Justin Williams said he won’t play tomorrow

It's still a little blurry up there, but I'll be fine."

Everybody moves up on the right wing. Andreoff back in the lineup on Thursday. (Daily Faceoff)

Wow how scary. Sucks to be without Williams but that could have been a LOT worse. I have a buddy who lost his hockey career on a similar nothing play.

Ugh, Andreoff. Haha. I wish I could see even a glimpse of the Petr Kanko people sold me on :P

I think Ron's line combos for the Isles make 1000x more sense than the crap Coach Flintstone throws out on the ice. Any interest in a coaching gig?

Too bad the Isles don't have Matty Moulstache as he is usually good for a goal or two against his brother in law.
