I understand that.

Next time they all get run over instantly, let me know if that's good. You always, always defend the line.

That unit has been pegged as major problem for months for a good reason.
There is more to o-line play then simply blocking the guy in front of you. A lot of it falls on the QB. The QB calls the protection slides. The QB going through his progressions is a factor. So, yeah, I defend the line. Because it’s probably the toughest position on a football team to play. And DCs line has the potential to be pretty good. If only it’s OC put it in a position to succeed.

That spot is insanely short, wow.

edit: and to go with above, I was going to uneducatedly make this guess earlier but I wondered how many Washington players right now are feeling the best fan support they've ever felt in their time with the franchise

It's got to make them feel like they aren't in permanent hell anymore, and might actually dig out.

Again, I understand all this.

What does this have to do with the line completely failing immediately multiple times in a game? Them doing so all summer as well? What are Howell and the OC supposed to do about that? Tell them not to suck shit the second a play starts?

Bush league officiating.

What does that even mean? Someone got beat? And?

I thought the league would officiate us fairly now that Snyder didn't own the team wtf

Anyone knowing this team knows we have a long history of calls against us lol.

Holds not called, or mysteriously nullifying punt and kick return yardage, etc

Multiple guys getting beat. And often.

I'm sure we will have another year where the line grades out worse than the year before and people will act like that's fine.
Seems to me like the O-line has been a point of concern forever…..but today they haven’t been terrible. Certainly not my area of expertise though so I tend to listen more to guys like Hog who have played the position(s).

Wish we had an offense that would f***ing scare teams. Instead we had a slow ass drain the clock offense to kick 3.

Yes it would've been nice to air it out

4 play 7 yard drive in this economy 😂

EB seems to have adapted here with playcalling. Going forward I'd like to see more short, fast routes available as an outlet. Too many plays where you're asking this OL and a rookie QB to hold on while things develop.
