Howell looked good but he is a 3 year college starter playing against college level talent. I’m not excited but optimism is growing.

I liked Howell's poise and decision making and timing more than anything else, regardless of the competition level.

My only concern right now is I didn't see many finesse passes. Every one was a bullet. Can he put some air under the ball and drop it in a bucket? If not there are some plays he won't be able to make, and some top DBs are going to jump some routes.
