happy birthday ron rivera

just wouldn't fit harris model. Harris hires smart football people and gets out of the way. Hard to believe he would give Bill complete control here. And Bill with complete control hasn't done that well the last few years.

Last thing we need is him here.
If Belichick is just the coach, someone else is GM and has total control of personnel decisions, and they don’t have to give up any assets to get him from New England, then I’m ok with this as a potential approach for filling the head coaching role.

I’m not saying it would be my preferred solution but it would be acceptable IMO. When it comes to teams that need to fill that role, I think think there are going to be at least a few that are going to be a reasonable amount more attractive than the ‘Skins so I think we all need to get used to the idea of not getting our first choice or two. So as a less than top option, under those conditions, I’d be ok with Belichick.

but it'll never happen belichick would never do that. most of his winning was him as GM and coach

give me a young coach while keeping our draft picks

Can’t believe our hopes rest on the shoulders of Derek f****ing Carr. What a ludicrous proposition, lol.

Get your rest, Burgundy Tank - tomorrow is showtime!

At least Atlanta is starting Desmond Ridder, not Taylor Heineke. If Heiny were to lead a win that costs us a franchise QB, I'm punching all the winos I see for a week.

I guess I'll be the minority today. F Dallas and beat them.
nah….however it’s a strong silver lining if the Skins blow the 2nd pick

This isn’t meant at just you, I’ve seen quite a few posters commenting on this:

What is it with the wino hate? They are us, just with a larger drinking problem! (Sometimes MUCH larger)

Sorry, no hate, just trying to be silly/funny.

But that was the premise of the article. Harris is interested in him as coach only.

I agree, I have no interest in coach/GM Belichick and certainly have no interest in paying anything more than money for him in either coach or coach/GM capacity.

I can see him deciding just being the coach at this point is fine. He’s just playing out the string looking to break Shula’s record anyway.
