So we have no college football games today. And we have 2 MNF games at the same time this week. Who did this? A NFL game today would have everyone eyes on it.

Is it just bad Network deals?

Was thinking the same thing…..and everyone bitches when the NHL makes questionable scheduling decisions…I chalk it up to we just don’t know all the intricacies of scheduling….

At the old Cap Centre in Landover, we had to go out to the parking lot between periods to partake, which meant you also could throw a frisbee, drink a decent beer from your cooler, and listen to some good music - while maintaining a 6th sense (enhanced by the bud) of when the next period would start. Zoomers don’t know what they’re missing

Assuming we lose out (we could f*** that up, but I'm going to play the optimist), our best shot at getting into the top 3 is probably the Pats winning 2 more (I think they'd need to out-win us, in a tie we'd go lower b/cause the H@H win) -- (vs. NYJ and DEN). Realistically, we're probably more likely to end up #4 OA, which should be the perfect spot to land Fashanu (or Alt, if someone does something weird in front of us.)

Catching up on comments from the last few days, I'd be surprised if Nix or Penix will be there as options for a second rounder, and even if they are, they'd have to be an insane value vs. what else is available for me to want to pull the trigger on a backup w/ a high 2nd. I never thought much of Nix at AUB, but he might really have turned the corner after leaving. I think Penix could be a very good QB, but I wonder for how long -- his body has already had a career full of injuries.

I think Daniels is going to be a star -- he's got a monster arm and the ability to hit the deep throws from the pocket as well as on the run, and he might be the best running QB not named Lamar. The team that drafts him will work with him to add about 10 more good pounds, and he'll be fine.

All that said, I think whatever fan base gets Caleb is going to live the world's most insane roller coaster -- otherworldly highs and the shrieking terror that every move could be the one that gets his body snapped in half. (Please, God, don't let it be us...)

@ynotcaps I believe head to head isn't a tie breaker for draft position, it's based on strength of schedule. Looks like we'd pick ahead of Arizona if we end up with the same record, but not NE.

I don’t want to smell cigarette or cigar smoke when I’m out in public so I can see why people wouldn’t want to smell weed in public. Weed also has a very distinct smell and there’s more than a fair share of people who don’t like it.

It has nothing to do with stigma, it’s just common courtesy.
