Wow, Cousins went out of the game limping badly and I didn't see the play so figured it was a bad sprain but they're saying achilles. Acute achilles strain is rare so probably a tear.
It was virtually identical to the Rodgers one. Dropped back, tried to step up in the pocket and his right foot just gave out on him. He took an extra step or two but basically folded up super early and gave himself up, then couldn't put pressure on it getting off the field or on the sidelines.Wow, Cousins went out of the game limping badly and I didn't see the play so figured it was a bad sprain but they're saying achilles. Brutal. Figures no contact injury would take him out. Tough dude.It was virtually identical to the Rodgers one. Dropped back, tried to step up in the pocket and his right foot just gave out on him. With that loss that should end any playoff speculation and open up trading away players. Here is my list of players who should be available.
- Gibson
- Robinson Jr
- Samuel
- Logan Thomas
- Crowder
- Fuller
- Sweat
NFL trade deadline isn’t the same as other sports. Teams don’t do rentals in the NFL typically. But maybe in the era of analytics…
FB active? They might run 15 times instead of 10.
If EB sticks around Robinson is not a good fit for EBs offense. Robinson needs a head start, power run. Running out of the shotgun is not his thing. Besides he is a RB. Dime a dozen. If they can get a 3rd for him snatch that shit up.Why on earth trade B-Rob? Anyone else on that list sure….
….such a low opinion of B-Rob. Not all RBs are a dime a dozen. Doubt they’re looking to move him because EB can’t get his shit together yet. Too early to cut bait on him only to force us to pick 2 RBs next draft….if anything his running mate is gone. They just need a better pass catching RB to platoon with B-Rob.They ran the ball 16 times against 52 pass plays.
This is an example of the offense not being complimentary to a not good defense.

Agreed. Plus, if RBs really are a dime a dozen, why would another team spend a 3rd (or anything close) on a guy who's 2 gunshot wounds past his own 3rd round slot?….such a low opinion of B-Rob. They probably wouldn’t but you never know.Agreed. Plus, if RBs really are a dime a dozen, why would another team spend a 3rd (or anything close) on a guy who's 2 gunshot wounds past his own 3rd round slot?
I don't think anybody is going to pop for BR for anything that would be worth giving him up and having to replace him. He's a second year back who's shown some nice ability to push the pile but he's never set a game on fire. Why would somebody send a 4th or 5th for a guy they could get with that 4th or 5th themselves? And why would the team trade a 3rd rounder from last year for a lower pick than they spent on him, and which they'd probably have to use on his replacement? They probably wouldn’t but you never know.
A bonafide RB in the NFL can be had in every round of the draft. Just look around the league. How many high RBs came in the 3rd or later? A lot.
I have a high opinion of Robinson. He is a very good back but it’s plain as day he isn’t a run out of the shotgun type back. So what to do with him? Forget a pick, would it be worth it to trade straight up for a lineman? A TE who can run block? Secondary help? Maybe a LB? Yes.
How about Sweat and Robinson to BAL for a 1st and change?
NFL draft picks are so over valued. That's nothing in return for a 10 sack guy. You're not going to get another Sweat in the 2nd or 3rd round. Not equal value. I'd rather just pay him.I think you seriously consider taking that….but that might mean Chase stays…
79.5 Million in expected cap next year for us .... thats without cutting anyone or extending etcNFL draft picks are so over valued. That's nothing in return for a 10 sack guy. You're not going to get another Sweat in the 2nd or 3rd round. Not equal value. I'd rather just pay him.
