Howell’s receivers did him absolutely no favors. Like the d-line, they are overhyped (including Mclauren, who would be a #2 on about a dozen other teams). And Dotson once again with a huge drop that essentially ends the game.

This shtick might — might — be mildly funny if the defense wasn’t 25th or worse in pretty much every category with half the starters being first round picks in year four of their regime. But, since all of those things are true, this is just lame. And JDR is ass.
Oh, yeah? Then how do you account for the fact that JDR's D went TWO consecutive weeks without giving up 30 points? Huh? HOW?!
(And, no, you can't point out that it was against the Giants and the Falcons, and that those are the only two games so far this season they didn't give up 30+, including 40 against the then-winless Bears...)

Yea, he was great in the SB last year. They just win a lot when he’s not that great imho. Shrug.

Nice throw Sam.

Which just doesn’t happen often. He’s currently t-9th in QBR.

I get it, you believe the offense should be flawless but a once in a blue moon stop by the defense should win JDR accolades.
No. I just know that the offense compliments the defense and visa versa. And when an offense cannot sustain drives on a week to week basis, especially in the first half, that has a negative impact on the defense.

So, yeah, the defense is not good. But neither is the offense. And that’s why the team is 3-5.

43-20 score in Dallas game is first time that score has ever happened in the NFL in over 16k games

This take is head scratching. We moved the ball in the first half and if not for a fumble Philly has 17 and was moving the ball effortlessly. 3rd quarter they marched down to our 1 and fumbled. We had a 5 and out (what a screw job for the D, right?) and they marched down and scored sa TD. We scored a TD in response, they marched down and scored a TD. In what way was the offense not doing its part up to that point?

As I stated, you have an expectation that the offense is perfect. Like any reasonable defense needs the offense to have 10 play TD drives 90% of the time to be effective. No prognosticator, no coach on the planet would claim the offense didn’t help the D.

The D was even trash against a horrible offense last week.
