The move of Buff to forward may not, on its own, be a bad decision; but the message it sends to the team is negative and demoralizing. Do you think his friends/teammates want to see someone forced to play a role against their will? The psychology of it is all wrong.

Time to waive Seto and bring up some more kids, play O'Dell the rest of the way.

Well, riddle me this - what would you propose Chevy do at this juncture of the season?
I'm not aware of any players, who could actually improve the Jets, being on the trading block, and the current choices for replacement coaches aren't confidence inspiring.

Specifically, what should Chevy do that would gain your seal of approval?

I've already asked him earlier in the thread. not nothing was the response.

To repeat a statement in a previous post I have already made (for those with a short memory or POOR reading comprehension) on this thread, it would start with a coaching change even to one on an interim basis, it would show the team and fans the organization is serious about winning, it sure as hell doesn't look like that now!

According to the stats the best players tonight were all new guys - Sheif, O'Dell, Frolik, Ellerby, and Pardy. We need more new guys!

Your question is ridiculous. Its Chevy's job, not some fans, to come up with a solution to this mess. And he hasn't done ANYTHING to fix that this year. Why the heck should someone have to lay out a five year plan just because they say they want Chevy to do something?

Three games next week. Phoenix, Calgary, Edmonton. For the first time I genuinely feel either the coach or a piece of the core could be on the way out based on the results of a small number of games.

My first-ever post on HFBoards! And I wanted to use a meme to sum up my feelings for the Jets after tonight:

He keeps saying "we'll get better, x player will get his game back"

That's good to know. Hopefully it doesn't take another 5 losses till we "get it back"!

I'm also in favor of a coaching change.

However, to all those who are spouting off "CHANGE THE COACH NOW", who do you suggest we get AT THIS VERY MOMENT? From what I can tell there are zero prime candidates out there currently. So to just blindly fire our coach now and pick up some random guy for the same of change is not only idiotic, but unprofessional as well. [mod]

For all those that believe this is the best move, sorry, but that makes you look like uneducated fools.

All I expect for my hard earned money is effort. That's it. If we lose because the other team is better and we work hard, I'm fine with that. These last few games have been pathetic.

It looks like Chevy has a lot more work to do then he thought. That being said, I thinks its going to get worse. There is simply little he can do right now. Change just for the sake of change may help temporarily, but moves made under heavy duress usually don't work out. Stay the course as much as it hurts me. Get what you can at the deadline and go into the off season with a plan.
