I think we as fans have been nothing but supportive and over-the-top from day one.

The Boos coming out now are long overdue this season, I think. It's not like we hate our team and want them to move back to Atlanta, but it's because we want improvement/change. It's the MOST effective way we as fans can stand up and be noticed, especially on a national broadcast Saturday night.

Game was only on CBC in here and Sask.

Rest of the country got either the Montreal game or the Ottawa game.

But I agree with the rest of your post.

Time for Chevy to put his big boy pants on and start behaving like an NHL GM instead of playing one!

And do what? What silly magic would you wish him to make happen? Nothing is possible unless the perfect hockey trade comes up. Let's here some substance to the constant complaining. What are the exact things we should do.

Sure, lets just blindlessly cheer on this terrible team that gives no effort night after night

We should just be happy we have a team, right?

Give me a break, these guys are paid millions of dollars and fans pay good money to see them play. If they're terrible, fans have the right to let them know.

I would have to agree here. The booing does accomplish something, it shows the players that they need to be held accountable and I hope it made them feel just a little crappy getting booed off their own home ice.

That would explain why the panel didn't mention the Jats until Kevin Weekes said something goofy near the end of their segment.

Also: I do not think Chevy and Chipman will enjoy hearing the boos. If nothing else, that won't sit well with them.

Interesting times.
