Love that the officials are letting them settle it on ice, for the most part.

There's more to the game than stat watching. There's been a noticeable drop in his play this season.

That's also more to the game than only noticing mistakes and not recognizing good plays. There's no pleasing some people.

Condon came up huge in the last minute, potential game changer right there.

How have the Devils, without last change, managed to get their top line out against Gilbert-Pateryn 3 times in offensive zone? All 3 shifts led to scoring chances...

Subban is one of my favorite players. With that said, I'm not going to pretend like there's not been a drop in his play and ignore that he hasn't been his usual self so far this season.

You can't be critical of your own team and its players? Must be some new HF rule I missed.

We're not going 82-0-0 having won all of our games convincingly by 6 or more goals. The sky is falling. Trade everyone for picks and prospects and fire our entire coaching staff and front office.

It starts at the grassroots level. I'm taught "game management" instead of calling by the book regardless of situation. I'm interested in continuing to be assigned games so I follow what I'm instructed. This does, for example, mean swallowing my whistle late in a close game. I can think of a tripping call I deliberately let go this morning because it was "kind of soft" and it was 3-2 with 3 1/2 minutes left in the third period. I'm literally taught to not call it because "the situation doesn't warrant it". :dunno:

Suit up and get out there! We need a referee

Pacioretty refused to stand in front of the net on that PP. his point total is a mirage when considering how soft this guy plays. He is Michael Ryder with a slightly better defensive game and a bit more speed...

"Slightly better defensive game" lol.

Pacioretty has never been the guy to stand in front of the net on the PP. He's the guy who gets off a quick shot from the slot most times. He changed his game after the injury Chara gave him a few years ago.

Shhhhh! Point totals are all the matters! As long as your point totals are fine then you cant criticize players!

Sheeesh, the sky is falling, trade everyone.

I thought the Habs played well. Puck seems to be jumping a lot. We'll need better scoring chances than what we got in the 1st to score on Schneider.

Devils should've been called on that too many men. Not to mention the Chucky penalty should've been a 4-on-4 because Farnham took a shot at Condon after he controlled the puck, which is a no-no and then took a swing at Beau. I'm guessing that's why Weise ran him into the boards, which probably should've been interference but was well deserved.
