Okay.So Tampa is catching the Leafs now that you’ve predicted the opposite……….
I mean, that's not what consistency means and it's not accurate either.I would think an 18-6 record over the last couple of months is pretty consistent, no?
6-0-1 since the TDL. In games I have watched them in, the looked good. Duclair was a nice add.I mean, that's not what consistency means and it's not accurate either.
We're 5-5 in our last ten, 9-1 in the ten before that, 5-5 in the ten before that..
Since January 1st both the Lightning and Leafs are playing at an identical .667 pts%
I don't think they'll catch us, we're due for a run of good play here based on our 'consistent' pattern of alternating between mediocre and excellent. But the Lightning have picked it up notably since the calendar flipped, .539pts% before January 1st, so they shouldn't be taken too lightly.
WC1 will play the #2 seed. Today that is Florida while WC2 will play the #1 seed, NYR. The good thing this year is that nobody knows 100% who they will meet in round #1.
He has been playing very poor hockey going back to last year, he was arguably our worst player in the playoffs. At least in the Florida series. While I most definitely understand the reason why Brodie is struggling and feel for him.:… He simply cannot be on the ice as his play has been absolutely putrid.
@ToneDogI thought division winners play the wild card teams and spots 2 and 3 in each division play each other?
So Seed #1 vs WC2 and Seed #2 vs WC1 ??@ToneDog

- The wild card team with the better record will play the other division winner.
- The teams finishing second and third in each division will meet within the bracket headed by their respective division winners.
No.... Winner Division with the most points, vs. WC2. Winner of the other division WC1.So Seed #1 vs WC2 and Seed #2 vs WC1 ??
I referred to Seed #1 as the higher of Atlantic and Metro winner and seed #2, as lesser of Atlantic and Metro winner. Today seed #1 is NYR. Seed #2 is Florida.I thought division winners play the wild card teams and spots 2 and 3 in each division play each other?
Correct Seed #1 = Winner Division with the most points. Seed #2 = Winner Division with the fewer pointsNo.... Winner Division with the most points, vs. WC2. Winner of the other division WC1.
I mean easy win right
I get home from work late tonight. Thanks for being accomodating.Any reason for the dreaded 7:30 start?

3rd game in 4 nights after two very tough games? This is far from easy.I mean easy win right

Yes these guys are highly unpredictable.Strangely, that's usually when they step up (when you think they might want to just mail it in). Who knows what to expect?

My bad, I think the use of the term seed confused some as there is no seeding. I used it for divisions winners only and WC1 and WC2 for wildcards.
I'd love it if Muzzin came back. Murray too tbh but man more than anyone would be Muzzin.Prime Muzzin and Murray back for game 1.
Assuming it is to accommodate US television. Game is exclusive to ESPN (ESPN+).Any reason for the dreaded 7:30 start?
Really a coin toss on opponents , each having pros and cons. I like the Canes low key factor for a round 1. Rags can choke too. Leafs probably need like 4 more wins to secure a spot. I still think about that.Right now, if Toronto dropped into WC1, they would play the Eastern division leader with the fewer points which at the current time would be the Panthers.
