Still hoping they both take their sweet time recovering so they can be 100% when we really need them.
Think that's the plan. Heard Marner could play if they were fighting for a playoff spot but seems as though they are locked into 3rd so there is no rush.

Why? Except that he stretched it out too long and forced the goalie change, it's a valid strategy that I've seen used, and even done myself.

In a close game the strategy is not going to be to bring in a cold goalie while the other team is pressing just so the team can get a bit of a reset.
Any Goalie is going to want to finish what he started.

I'm intrigued by line 3.... They should be able to get something done offensively.. not sure how they'll do defensively though.

Not to mention this could lead to more injuries in the back end when bringing in a cold goalie.
