I haven’t seen this effort much at all this year, other than maybe the Detroit game and the first half of that Columbus game that followed. Somehow we made that Columbus game close just like the mirage that was tonight’s 3rd period”.

They were completely dominated in the 1st period as well. It wasn’t a 5 minute thing. They were totally outclassed until the back end of the 3rd.

Not having Jack , Timo , Palat , Dougie is a pretty big loss. Vancouver are a great team. You gotta expect this one to be a tough game even if we were healthy , especially it being their 3rd in 4 nights. Atleast they made it a close game. They really were a mess defensivley though. Any goalie in this league would have given up 3 or so goals the way the Devils played in their end. Still sucks to see Daws get lit up. The Devils just leaked quality chances , idk how many times the Canucks had a player manage to be able to drift into the slot to get a wide open scoring chance on Daws this game. That 5th goal we gave up was just pure garbage on all ends.
