No room in game locker room for Larsson and Josefson. Have to dress in other room.

That's BS if you ask me. Not really Josefson cause he just got back, but Larsson? This is where the 8 d men thing turns into a failure right here. Please never ever again. Both Lou and Pete look crazy for that one.

yea it's ****ing stupid for the teams sake and Larsson's. Don't care what others say this is hurting his development.

Devils, you were so close to scoring last game. You were knocking on the damn wall! NOW! BREAK DOWN THE WALLS and score like 5 or 6.

They both get a stall in men's room with their names written in sharpie.

They just continue to mind**** Larsson something fierce. I wonder, when they're getting on the bus, if the driver inches away as Larsson is about to get on, like your older brother would. :shakehead

yeah i mean this kinda draws the line for me. not only are you killing his confidence by scratching him but now you're dumping him off and essentially sending the message you arent good enough to sit in with everyone who is playing. ****ing ********, keep working wonders for the kid. :shakehead

I don't know who to blame on that. Pete is to blame, but Lou has enabled him with all these turd defenseman on the roster. Neither of them gets an A for the season.

I like the line-up.

Say what you want, this team is four lines deep. The problem is that we can't find ways to get scoring. In the beginning of the year, we had Clarkson and Elias on fire with a combination of some other players here and there. Then, once Elias and Clarkson died out, it was basically just CBGB and Loktionov, and the occassional Kovalchuk goal.

Right now, it just seems like no one is finding the net. We just need either Elias or Clarkson to get hot in my opinion. Someone needs to start finding the net with consistency, it could be Ponikarovski for all I care.

This has been my one gripe with Pete since he's been here. I love pretty much everything he's done except the way he's treating Larsson. He did the same thing to Kulikov in Florida IIRC. He likes to kill the confidence of young D men.

It would be nice is Zajac and Henrique would show up...

Larsson might be the next Jay Pandolfo. Didn't he get mad because he had to dress in the practice locker room?

They are playing well and making their contributions.

The problem is we need them to score, it's hard to say what it is, I personally can't put my finger on it. We're working hard, playing smart, but it just seems like we aren't creating. We aren't going into the high scoring areas, we aren't working hard enough to win the puck battles and get guys open.

It seems like when we do win puck battles and a forward comes out with the puck, there's no one in passing lanes. It's annoying because I will watch other games or other teams against us seemingly have guys open in the slot and it seems like we never can do that.

What they are doing to Larsson and Josefson here is exactly what happened when Lemaire (one of the few things I disagreed with him about) had Pandolfo and the other scratches in another locker room during the Langenbrunner tirades at the end of 2010 and part of the reason he asked Lou to waive him was because of how he said he was treated

Have a player or two with a locker slide over, make some ****ing room or how about we finally figure out what to do with all these ****** guys on the roster instead of continuously stockpiling them up

It's both Lou's and Pete's fault and its a ******** way to treat the players

@NHLDevilsPR: Clarkson wore four-leaf clover #NJDevils cap today: "I figured green's good luck… so I went with that today to try and change things up."

Don't worry clarkson is wearing a four LEAF clover.

I don't know whether this is really more on Lou or Deboer or maybe both equally. Either way it's not positive and could come back to bite us in the behind when negotiating newer deals with Larsson and/or Fayne as well. Fayne was really ticked off at being scratched.

Yea sure Clarkson... I think any rational fan can decipher what this means. They're playing the Maple Leafs tonight, who used to be the St. Pats. It's clear he's going to Toronto in the off-season.

This is being overanalyzed.

Devils have 25 on the roster right now. 15 forwards, 8 defenseman, and two goaltenders.

Most locker rooms only have room for 23, they don't consider when teams bring up players after deadline when the roster limit expands (I'm assuming it does).

What does that leave? Two people that are the odd men out. Do you honestly think DeBoer or the Devils would consider putting veterans like Kostopolous, Barch, Volchenkov in the other room over the young guys.

People are making it out to be much more than it really is.

I expect a strong performance from Sullivan. Not that this will happen for us, but he scored a hat trick in his first game for Nashville.

I would like to see that. New acquisitions either do really well or really poorly in their first game. Either because they are eager to make an impact, or because they are not used to the system. Let's hope it's the former for Sullivan.

Ya, there's making the kid earn his spot, and then there's giving him the runaround for little purpose or gain. We're getting dangerously close to that.

Prudential Center is a new building. There really is now excuse for them not to have a locker room that can fit 30 easily. Takes 2 minutes of thought when planning the building. I'm sure no one would have complained about a bigger locker room.

Willing to bet though it falls entirely on the team though. When they designed the place, I'm sure they asked Lou or someone within the organization what the team wants. Someone within the team signed off on 23 locker stalls.

Can't speak for the home locker room, as that's about the only room in the building I never set foot in, but in the case of the visiting locker room, the "extra lockers" really isn't much different from the main room. You have the main lockers, walk through an open doorway for about 10 steps maximum, and there are another dozen locker stalls right there. I would imagine its not much further away in the home locker room. The logistics of it all are completely blown out of proportion.
