Who's the last defenseman that even HAD a point a game, Ray Bourque? Karlsson came pretty close a couple years ago (78 points in 81 games) but that air's pretty freaking rare these days.

Haha thanks! I was supposed to swap out the Lou/nuke one at the begging of the season for this one but then we just continued to suck.

I pointed this out during the off-season. Volch has finished top 2 in hits on this team every single year he's been here. He's also finished top 2 in shots against, GA/60.

He gets a bad rap.

So constantly being out of position is ok, as long as you throw meaningless hits, you're almost guaranteed a spot on our roster.

It's like saying that a forward who shoots the puck from everywhere and anywhere is contributing offensively since he averages roughly over 10 shots a game.

#28 isn't getting a bad rap when considering the ratio of minutes played Vs his paycheck. If he'd be earning Hall Gill type money, I wouldn't even care... Probably cause he wouldn't be on this team since Lou would've complianced his ass but oh well.
