I just don't get how Ruff can preach accountability, scratching Siegs now and Severson earlier, but still trot out Wood. It's baffling, it's hypocritical, it's annoying. And I don't care how bad Siegs has been, Bahl's been worse and should be out of the lineup instead.

We beat him in one of the late season N. Bench games in 14-15 in a shootout.

I'm pretty sure Rapist Boucher and Busted Toe scored our only goals that game. Can't remember who scored in the shootout, but we won and Kinkaid was the goalie for us.

Could it have been Patty that scored a shootout goal? He didn't really have many shootout goals after 2011-2012.

That almost as long ago as the Rangers series. Was that the same year? I think it was a year after.

I think part of the wood thing at this point could be spite from the coach. I really do believe that happens all around the league, where a coach senses and hears the external ‘himming and hawing’ over a player and it becomes a “you think you are smarter than me and can influence me, well I will show you”.

That was the year after...dude only played another 23 games for Montreal over the next two seasons then started bouncing around obscurity, Anaheim for one start in '16-17 then stayed in the AHL for the next few years before resurfacing for the shitty Sabres for 13 games in '20-21, and then 29 games last year.
