That pass back from Rango to Nico on the SHG was an absolute thing of beauty.

Technically Nico should have a secondary assist on that Goal!

Yeah, he SUCKED on the radio. I don't listen to the radio, but they sometimes play his calls in those short videos they do wrapping up the action and aftermath of the games.

Didn't Chris Wescott do some of the games too? I think I've heard him do calls and he kind of sucked too.

That ''SCCCOOOOREEEESSSSSS DEVILLLLSSSSSSSSSSSS'' Kasan stuff sucked.

I don't think there's anything wrong with him as one of the reporters, but man his calls were cringy. It sounded like a David Puddy impersonator on some of those calls. It's almost like they were directing him to ''Okay, just act like David Puddy when the Devils score, okay?''.

If you look up stuff about him, it appears he came from the Pens and also worked for the Steelers and a picture comes up with him with a fistfull of THREE different Pens cup rings.

Yeah that’s exactly where I heard him too was those short video things on YouTube. Not trying to hate on the dude, but good grief it was rough even in the brief clips.

I don't think he ever did go on the road? Other than maybe to MSG, Long Island and Philly. Places in driving distance.

I could be wrong on that though. They probably either don't have the budget to put him up on flights, ubers/rental cars and hotel rooms on every road trip like they used to in the Tom Gulitti days. Or they just don't see it worth the investment.

I thought Matt did a great job filling that role too while Erica was gone. But I’m not a fan of him on PBP. That guy who filled in for him is the Sam Kasan dude who is works on the devils content team. He was terrible on PBP too “SCORRRREEE……. DEVILLLSSSSS”. If you listen to the media scrums you can hear him ask questions most times.

I’m big fan of Matt. And Chico. I like them more than any characters from our media personal. Overall I like Sal, Dano and I should admit I like Amanda too, just in shorter role. But I think Chico and Matt are too good smart and truthfully enough and active. I’m not a fan of Bill “first overall pick Jack Hughes - brother of Quinn “ Spolding. I hope he will add more calories in his job.
