I thought Matt did a great job filling that role too while Erica was gone. But I’m not a fan of him on PBP. That guy who filled in for him is the Sam Kasan dude who is works on the devils content team. He was terrible on PBP too “SCORRRREEE……. DEVILLLSSSSS”. If you listen to the media scrums you can hear him ask questions most times.
Yeah, he SUCKED on the radio. I don't listen to the radio, but they sometimes play his calls in those short videos they do wrapping up the action and aftermath of the games.
Didn't Chris Wescott do some of the games too? I think I've heard him do calls and he kind of sucked too.
That ''SCCCOOOOREEEESSSSSS DEVILLLLSSSSSSSSSSSS'' Kasan stuff sucked.
I don't think there's anything wrong with him as one of the reporters, but man his calls were cringy. It sounded like a David Puddy impersonator on some of those calls. It's almost like they were directing him to ''Okay, just act like David Puddy when the Devils score, okay?''.
If you look up stuff about him, it appears he came from the Pens and also worked for the Steelers and a picture comes up with him with a fistfull of THREE different Pens cup rings.
