I'm being logical and rational. And I've played on teams before - I'm always a funny, easy-going, rarely fried up trash talking, limited-talent guy. I'm a Lapierre kinda player (but he's really clutch in the playoffs, and I'm not so much).

I've played with big mouth players, they're annoying. I can only imagine how annoying Subban's antics are to his teammates, especially the more experienced and talented ones. It doesn't matter how skilled he is, and remember I'm a HUGE fan of Subban - I just know he doesn't act like a captain, I can see it with my eyes.

He's known as a diving dirtbag. I don't think he is particularly egregious but that's how he's known. You can sit on a fork for all I care, doesn't change how Subban is known throughout the league.

He dives - a lot. He faked a fight with Kreider and got hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct because the refs are sick of his ****.

Whatever, I still like him and think he's a top10 dman. So what? He's just not captain material.
