Honestly, if I were keeping score (and I'm not, because it's preseason. I kind of am on Devils goalies though but nothing official) I would give him a stoppable goal on that one for sure.

I actually have given a lot of stoppable goals on Sharangovich goals.

DeBrincat is another player that comes to mind that I have given a lot of his goals stoppable too.

When a guy makes a long term habit out of it though, I think it's more than fair to give the shooter credit, but I grade everybody the same, no matter who the shooter is. I have no shooter bias when keeping these records.

Yeah some guys just have particularly hard/good releases that make their shots harder to pick up I think. Rango is definitely one of them.
