So. My father delivers mail around West Orange told me today that Brodeur is selling his home in Llewellyn Park and that it's pretty much stripped.

Anyone think this is a sign that he's moving out of NJ after this season and a sign of potential retirement or am I very paranoid right now. Haha.

Moving into the house Ilya had built? :sarcasm:

His house has been for sale for a long time. There's currently a contract on it after the list price was lowered 200k. I can't show you the official listing but here's some information.

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/100-Mountain-Ave-West-Orange-NJ-07052/64537716_zpid/

Zillow estimates it at 1.4 mil but it's under contract for 1.6.

While initially they just sucked, Fayne's miss in game 1 and Ilya hitting the crossbar in game 2 against LA really hurt to watch, knowing the end result.

If we had just won ONE of out those first two games at home we would have won the cup. I still stand by that. The Kings were crumbling and it took a fluke ****ing penalty game six to beat us.

*deep breath, deep breath*

Not bitter...but yeah that won got away IMO. Well, not so much as it was a series of total flukes

Game 6 in 1994 was pretty bad. To have the Rags beat us in our own building in that way, then dealing with all the Rag fans when we were walking out was pretty annoying.

I remember being offered $1,000 each for 2 tickets for Game 6 of the Finals in 2001 but no, we decided we had to go

:why:

Wow this thread is depressing. Think of the good memories!

We've had plenty of them. More than most in fact.

Game 7 2009 was one of the worst moments of my life. Top 3 at least.

I had just gotten my season tickets a few months prior and I'm not ashamed to say I walked back to my car and cried for a good minute or 2 before making the long, painful drive back down to TCNJ where my housemates just stared at me as I came through the door and ripped a few shots from the communal Jack Daniels

I was in the middle of a poker game when they lost game 7. It was really hard not to tear up. I won that night and didn't give a **** because I was so upset about the loss.

when Staal scored the go ahead goal, I got up from my seat, walked out, drove home, and got into bed

didn't say a word until the next morning

I dozed off with about 5 minutes left in 2009 Game 7. Woke up with the score on the ticker. To this day, I have not watched any video of it. 2001 was the worst. With all the Bourque BS, and blowing it like we did, ****. I cried a little when it was over, I'll admit.

I was watching at home with friends and I literally didn't say anything or move for 2-3 hours. Everyone left and I didn't react to anything for hours.

2 hour, sober blackout

I'm generally one of the most mild mannered fans you'll see. I rarely get super excited when they Devils win a game, and I rarely get pissed off/upset when they lose.

That game 7 I ****ing rampaged through my apartment. Basically power bombed my computer desk chair into 3 pieces.
