Although, at least the Rangers crapped the bed the same night in 2009.
That's what infuriated me the most. I was being **** talked by Ranger fans who just saw their team eliminated 30 minutes prior.

I was 12 in 2001 so I cried into my pillow all night after Game 7.
In 2009 I just sat on my couch and stared at the wall for about 2 hours after Jokinen and Staal ripped my heart out. I honestly don't think I even moved from the position I was sitting after the final seconds counted down. Just sat there in complete shock, staring into oblivion.
In 2001 I was 67 years old and by 2009 I can't remember what happen beyond 3 years past. What I do know is the Devils should be the best. I remember the cement steps shaking in '95 in the Continental Arena, after a 4-0 sweep against the Red Wings and the Devils did it in a shorten season. Some called it a 1/2 a cup. I have been a hockey fans since I was 15 and it was my first cup I was present for. I couldn't sleep, I kept calling my sons saying we won. Their reply I know we were there with you. Then money got in the way, thanks John McMullen. Vanderbeek ripped off the team, I won't explain, just accept. New blood.. new hope.. same GM, he's old does he got one left?
when the canes won with 0.2 seconds left i stayed up all night and i didn't even realize somehow. i then looked at the clock on my phone, saw it was time to get up for school, and proceeded to realize i didn't get a second of sleep. and i wasn't tired. haha

Are you a teacher or something? I thought you were 67 in 2001.![]()
Marty's new pads.
Similar to last years but different.

He looks good. A little more slimmer than he usually looks at the start of a season.Speaking of Marty...here's a pretty good interview at the NHL media tour.

Looks like he took took away the red off one of the knee rolls. If I had two grand to waste, I would have gone with these:
