As i watched toilet stall skate down the wing i stood up. saw the shot go in dropped to my knees and tear rolled down my cheek. Sat on my knees in disbelief until the post game show ended. got up took my Jeresy off walked to the bathroom shaved while crying in the shower.

That was a bad time in my life. Gf of 3years broke up withme. lost my job. had to put my childhood dog down.

i remember debating with a rangers fan who had the worse night back in 09...I'm pretty sure he wound up winning to due 'time extrapolation' but it was close. but of course, it was Vietnam, and everybody was on the grass

I was 12 in 2001 so I cried into my pillow all night after Game 7.

In 2009 I just sat on my couch and stared at the wall for about 2 hours after Jokinen and Staal ripped my heart out. I honestly don't think I even moved from the position I was sitting after the final seconds counted down. Just sat there in complete shock, staring into oblivion.

In 2001 I was 67 years old and by 2009 I can't remember what happen beyond 3 years past. What I do know is the Devils should be the best. I remember the cement steps shaking in '95 in the Continental Arena, after a 4-0 sweep against the Red Wings and the Devils did it in a shorten season. Some called it a 1/2 a cup. I have been a hockey fans since I was 15 and it was my first cup I was present for. I couldn't sleep, I kept calling my sons saying we won. Their reply I know we were there with you. Then money got in the way, thanks John McMullen. Vanderbeek ripped off the team, I won't explain, just accept. New blood.. new hope.. same GM, he's old does he got one left?

2012 was really the first time I got to watch the Devils in the cup finals since im a younger fan, and let me tell you guys after the third PPG from Berniers stupid ass hit I was in tears throwing **** everywhere around my room. Worst memory to this day, I really had hope

You're 79 years old???

Awesome

when the canes won with 0.2 seconds left i stayed up all night and i didn't even realize somehow. i then looked at the clock on my phone, saw it was time to get up for school, and proceeded to realize i didn't get a second of sleep. and i wasn't tired. haha

You might be the oldest poster I've ever come across on a message board . That is pretty great though. Kudos

Marty's new pads.

Similar to last years but different.

The Vaughn rep on the forum I got this from ( http://www.goaliestore.com/board/eq...ficial-2013-2014-gear-sitings-thread-100.html )
Said Marty had to cut 1'' off his pads from last year.

Speaking about tearing up earlier from heart break....

Not going to be a dry eye in the house...maybe as soon as this years last regular season game.

I was thinking about that today...depending on how this season goes ( no playoffs ) the last home game may be one of the hardest Devils ticket to get ever
