He's finally looked like he deserved to be picked over Mercer lol. Granted that's more been due to Mercer being bad than Holtz being great.

It was, but the Isles were pushing and the Devils were playing it safer, gonna want to change that. But overall it was a very good game. I'd get a lot of score effects comments if this was reversed from many here lol.

I'm a bit chicken little about a possible Nico injury. We really need him and will be in trouble without him.

You get worried about a lot of stuff though to be fair hehe. All kidding aside I understand your concern, but Nico played after the hit and we have a lot of days to rest up. Odds are he's fine, we'll see.

Is it just me or has the amount injuries in hockey become completely ridiculous in the last several years? Constantly have to be on pins and needles expecting major contributes to miss significant time. Last year was the exception, and even then we had at least one player in Palat was out for a long time.

Also, I still maintain that Nico doesn’t play smart from an injury prevention standpoint. What was he doing dropping his shoulder so far down along the boards on a non-scoring chance. As soon as he did I knew it would be potential trouble. I respect his tenacity but he puts himself into physical trouble even when it’s unnecessary, and it’s costly. Who knows how bad it is…just because he played a bit after doesn’t mean shit.
