Regardless of result, this has been an encouraging game. No way this offense isn’t great if we’re healthy. And that’s with Nico still not finding his game. Or Mercer even.

Yes, I will still throw a tantrum if we lose.

After seeing the Flyers completely shutout the Oliers last night. I was getting concerned that coaches have found a way to ruin fun offensive hockey again. So far not the case tonight. The Islanders system is in Netanyahu that's it!

I didn't love Timo on that third goal. He's playing like a meat-head; like a rich man's Miles Wood. I think maybe he's just a great complementary player and as some have suggested, maybe Holtz or Mercer need those minutes.

Overall, hard to complain with the 4-line compete tonight. What I have NOT loved is the d-zone intensity. The 3-5 man unit when defending just does not look intense and fast.

I used to frequently visit the Tastee in South Brunswick. Hoagie Haven further south by it's name in Princeton is frigging fantastic too!

Franklin Park, but close enough...that was also the one I went to.

There’s a lot to like about this game, other than we can’t get a 5 on 5 goal, which has been a theme.
