at a certain time no siblings will become mandatory for devils draftees. So we are drafting his brother right?
Beep boop beep boop! Must collect all brothers!!
So we start drafting from down south and get "cousins" then?at a certain time no siblings will become mandatory for devils draftees.
Nobody said anything about spouses. Sorry, low hanging fruit since I hear that joke almost every day.So we start drafting from down south and get "cousins" then?
I have 99 red balloons.I got 99 problems
i think she shaves now as well.I have 99 red balloons.
also the devils have almost no cap space, so what help could they even fit?Devils are the third best team in the nhl, who needs immediate help?
I’d like to see how his microstats are looking. I don’t know if they’re publicly available. But I certainly don’t care much about points from a defenseman at this stage. So we are concerned about an 18 year old who is in NA for the first time, playing on NA ice. Getting good minutes while he develops. Which is exactly whats supposed to happen.
If the kid was 21 or 22 and this was the conversation then cool. But he is 18, give him some time let him learn the NA game and Id bet he will look far better in the middle and end of the year then he does now.

I would imagine that any trade that is made by the devils involves Johnsson going back as just a cost of doing business addition to the move. Any team talking with is would probably know that up front. That does give some latitude with regards to acquiring someonealso the devils have almost no cap space, so what help could they even fit?
you've got a good imagination then - i dont see us obtaining a definitive roster upgrade while offloading a bad contract without getting absolutely hosed on the dealI would imagine that any trade that is made by the devils involves Johnsson going back as just a cost of doing business addition to the move. It’s really had to guess what will happen with trades, other than not much for a while lol, because so many teams are capped out. You never know because of injuries but I’m not expecting much. It's not a bad deal at this point. If someone wants to make a deal with us, they have to take back Johnsson. That is just the way it's going to be because that's the only way the devils can make a move (unless the person being acquired can actually fit cap space wise with retention). His entire salary has mostly been paid. He'd be owed like 300K for the rest of the year if he got moved in a deadline deal and then he's a ufa next year. It really isn't that unusual.

Maybe a desperate move for a goalie in an attempt to beat out other teams making the same move for that goalie, but that would be pretty novel occurrence this early.
(Hey, Vancouver actually made trades in October, their first trades since March 21 2021. Heh. Dumb f***ing team.)
