I think I have traumatizing childhood memories that I just can't really remember, but I associate a lot of bad memories with Christmas time. I can never figure out why.

My first love broke up with me after 5+ years right around Christmas. About 2.5 weeks before, actually. We still did Christmas that year together and Hanukkah together that year, because her dad was Jewish and they celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah.

So I'm not really into the Christmas, nor Hanukkah spirit at all this time of year.

But I never was even before that, I'm just not sure what it is.
