Its not the bolded. That is a Marine symbol. What is painted on the mask is known as the "Trident" The symbol of the Navy Seals. Google it to get a better look.

Ah, right. I forgot Chris Kyle was Navy. My mistake.

Odd that those Chris Kyle and Rocky masks are very similar design wise. On the right side you have their figures and artistic pictures almost on the same spots. And on the left side you can see the big and small DaveArt -style logos. I mean, it's like a common template or something.

He's a helluva painter, but I'm not convinced of the design aspect. IMO He often just paints complex and detailed pictures on the masks.

At first glance I thought this was a Coyotes mask...

"Get ready for Oscar Alsenfelt´s new Redhawks mask… it is black, red and white, and it glows in the dark…

The black base of the mask makes the hawks eyes pop in the night…

In the middle of the design is the classic MIF logo, the one I remember from my childhood when I watched Malmö IF play hockey in the early 90´s… The rest of the design is framed by the Redhawks graphics inspired from the Redhawks uniform.

Today we have the pleasure to present my friend Michal Neuvirth's new Flyers mask. Michal and I have been working together for many years. Michal was sure what he wanted on his new Flyers mask.. He wanted a tribute to Rocky.������

I loved the idea and I started to brainstorm. I love the Rocky movies, and I came up with a plan how we could create the design. I started to paint...��

The tribute painting to Rocky is created in many different techniques, I love to mix techniques when I paint. In focus is the painting of Rocky and his trainer, created in airbrush. The rest is created in a mix of airbrush, brush and sketch pencil.��

On a distance the design is a clean cut Flyers design which live and breath Flyers. And when you come closer the design becomes a storyteller design��. Among all the details you will find the castle from Michal's home town��.

Just as usual the design is loaded with all the DAVEART Trademark Super FX��.

This actually has a halfway interesting design...it's not a bad start. Goes off the DaveArt rails but it's not a terrible start for a mask.
