Some observation from the balconies:
It took 2 or 3 goals but the fans managed to figure out how to make SNA even more epic than RRP2 (as we all know). We even got the hand chop down and everything.
Summary: No matter what, the fans will chant it. Ownership has to accept this and move on. The fanbase as a whole will mature on its own. We're a very young fanbase collectively.

It was similar to the RRP2 hand chop, but faster and fans loaded up quite a bit during the goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal.

I blame JK3 who posted it beforehand...clearly a lot of people at the arena read HF
This is the kind of protest I actually find hilarious on second thought...instead of the destructive booing, they actually pulled off an organized **** you to managment, without hurting the atmosphere. If this was a game of chess, tonight the fans put the higher-ups in check. Unless they find a song (and a good one at that) that's 'you suck' proof it's going to be checkmate in a hurry.

as juvenile as the chant is at this point i hope it sticks with whatever choice is made....just to ram the rod up the new owner *****. sure....you got the money to buy the team........the real blood (the fans) have more invested then they do.

Can you imagine what they were thinking? As "you suck" was chanted? I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that suite.

Again, how do we know it isn't actually Lou that wants you suck out? The organization already tried to get rid of it once under Vanderbeek. It wouldn't shock me if Lou (the same guy who hated the 'no blue' slogan) had the biggest facepalm.
Sure the owners are convenient scapegoats because of their wish for a more family-friendly atmosphere and corporate support, and they're clearly on board with the goal song change...I'm just not sure they were the ones that initiated it.

cause lou's got better things to do like helpimg deboer to ice the best 20 players and **** like that.
no thanks to a family friendly atmosphere.....i get drunk and curse and yell stupid things while at games cause its fun.......then i go home and wake up to go to work like a normal person........the game is a good way to get some yelling out.
its not a ****ing church.

I think they have to realize by now that regardless of what the song is, short of literally banning every fan that chants it from the arena it's never going away.

BTW, it is pretty awesom
well they clapped too. But there's the chop that we did for RRP2, the chop and point on the YOU SUCK.
Anyway that returned on the you suck but it was faster and started a little before i noticed. Maybe we were rusty.

I really liked it better than RRP2. Which I never thought I would have. Hopefully this wins because the you suck is going to get stronger and stronger haha..
