That is not enough to re-sign Sammy. Has to be a trade beyond Murray. Nylander??/

We have 52k left over with Sammy at 3, Domi at 3, and Murray out.

And that is with a 21 man roster.

Domi always look good in his first year with the team. He had great 1st year with the Yote and Habs. Hopefully he will have the same impact with us too

Sam Lafferty isn't as push over. He's a heavy hitter and will drop the gloves if need be. I acrually think Lafferty and Reaves on the same line is going to be ballistic.

What we need now is a fast feisty center to go with them. I want either Mason Shaw or Noah Gregor to sign like a 1yr/750mill deal

True Lafferty can hit but compared to the rest of the league he is about as average as most players on other teams for as far as toughness and grit goes. Shows how much softer the leafs are compared to the rest of the league.

Reaves, Bertuzzi, Domi. Throw in a little team friendliness from the core four and this team could be really likeable again. Not unlike when we had Orr, McLaren, Fraser, Kadri, etc. Had a lot of fun watching those guys beat up the habs on the scoreboard and with their fists.
