New GM Trades and Signings Part 2

Would a Kadri reunion make sense for toronto

Kadri + Hanafin - extended for Nylander - extended + Murray

Other option is kadri + Kylington for Nylander no extension + Murray

Kadri at 7M os still good. Likely 60 pt 2C with JT at the wing

Agreed on Brodie.
Brodie is one of the best defensive Dmen in the league. His down sides are he provides zero offence and he is pretty soft.
He would be hard to replace. Treliving’s additions have made the team harder to play against but all of them are terrible in their own end. If they trade Brodie they better have a plan to bring in a strong defensive Dman to make up for it.

Pass.. No interesting in paying Kadri $7 mill AAV until he's 39 .. he'll be 33 at the start of the season. Contract isn't good.

maybe they're waiting on another move before they make it official? I think you're only aloud to exceed the cap by 5% right?

Yea was thinking this as well. Kadri age is the concern for me

7M he can likely be for abother 2 years but he atill has 4 years after that which are to concerning

Just was looking to see what other fans thoughts are for this type of move

They have all the money in the world. Take league minimum with the leafs. Maybe we could move Jarnkrok for cap space.
