He had a reason for not wanting to sign in Toronto. Unless he comes out and publicly states what it is, we may never know that what it was. Maybe he has secret plans to be a country singer when he retires. Maybe he found he didn't like playing back in Canada -- might prefer the anonymity of the US. Maybe he liked Trotz and the Nashville front office better than Treliving and Shanahan. Maybe he thought Duabas should have been kept. Maybe he simply didn't get along with some on the team (not necessary an indictment of either side -- some people just don't mix). And yes, maybe he didn't the team as it is comprised.

If it's the last one, maybe he's right. But he could also be wrong. Just becasuse someone dislikes something and you dislike it too doesn't mean you're both right. It's just an opinion. For all we know, it might be that O'Reilly wouldn't be happy on most of the teams in the league.

But you could be right. I just know that I do not have enough evidence to reach a conclusion either way.

It just feels like a lot of fans have made up a story in their head and are willing to warp anything that happens to fit that story. But, as usual, I could be wrong.
