A lot of names going off board, and it has been a suspiciously quiet on our end. Either because of the Matthews/Nylander negotiations restricting us from spending or BT is still asleep.

I think skipping on a lot of these is for the best to be perfectly honest. Waiting for teams to splurge and then swooping in to grab one or two good players on cheap deals is a good strategy that works.

Go hard after Bertuzzi but set a limit, hope Duchene wants to come home on a cheap-ish deal, look for a Schenn replacement... but you have to spend smart.

Then target a Gregor and a Hathaway to fill out the depth.
