I can forgive a lot if the guy can pot 30 goals. Hell Pittsburgh won back to back Cups with Kessel still not playing defence and he went off in the playoffs. Leafs as they’re built should be able to insulate one guy who’s weak defensively, especially with the offensive potential he’s got.

Keefe for all his faults has a good system at least defensively so we should be okay. One player shouldn't cause issues

I mean Duchene would give us offense, and if it came cheap enough there’s a benefit. But I don’t know if we have the room to harness Duchene the Diva. But who knows. Maybe we need more bad vibes in the room cause the peace collective doesn’t work.

God I hope so. If you are signing a UFA, take the risk on a 28 year old with upside. Perfect Bunting replacement. This would restore a bit of my faith in this off season. Follow it up with Mayfield on D and go from there.
