I wish I could give this 10 likes. It's the balanced truth.Dubas was an average GM with external PR.

I don’t think Duchene should cost anywhere near that on the heels of his buy out. If he wants to win, he should accept something around 4 max
Fairly good contract for ROR (a touch more term to bring the AAV down a tad). He's going to get a great (better?) opportunity playing C for NSH. Trotz apparently scouting the Leafs extensively!
Ror deciding to leave could be a major indictment on the core and he probably doesn’t believe they have the “it” factor. He seemed visibly frustrated at times with his teammates lack of fight
I guess not everyone wants to play in Toronto like others seem to think they do.
He did not want to sign here!yes, recruiting and selling a player on the team is a GM's job
No, I'm saying if you want to make an argument at least have facts on your side. Schenn was legit in Vancouver. Flat out ignoring that as you did is wrong.Oh im sorry I didnt realize I needed to think in lockstep with the likes of you...my bad

Hard to blame Andersen for their playoff loss, considering they were missing two of their best forwards
Andersen has been decent for them. Decent deal

Perfect sense if ROR knows that the coach and his puppet master are dysfunctional. That makes zero sense.
Attempted damage control?
They have no othet choice lol

Perhaps this is message to the previous GM strategy and 4 forwards making 1/2 the cap and that doesn't leave much room for depth and 2nd scoring. But people blame the GM Lol.
