Got to give a ton of props for putting him with Robinson and KK. He’s paired Necas with two guys who play a high intensity, defensively responsible, two way game. On top of that, they defer to him offensively and the entire play runs through the puck on his stick. I think he maybe figured out that you just needed to put him with a couple of non flashy workhorses and take his shackles off. That takes a lot of trust from a coach, especially a coach like Rod, but I think it’s an earned trust based on the work Necas has put in over the past few years to develop a more responsible and efficient nature to his game.
