Brooks wanted us to sell at the deadline and rebuild in February 2014, less than four months before we were in the SCF.

Carp thinks Vesey is better than Buchnevich.

Vesey is better than Buchnevich. Buchnevich has more upside.

He's a guy who looks like he belongs 85% of the time. He's going to make mistakes, backing in on Ovi the other night or a silly play to not tie up the stick last night on tying goal but he's earning the ice time to be in those situations, unlike Ada. Will be interesting to see if he learns from those mistakes and keeps getting better.

Yeah, but Buch isn't a good American boi and he's sawft on the puck. No sandpapuh.
Yeah, and Buchnevich is weak defensively.

**Looks at the amount of shots and goals against when Vesey is on the ice**

Stick to making fun of Pionk, it's slightly less nauseating.

I will take what Rick Carpinello and I think over your gimp opinion. Nobody shells out their hard earned money to be informed or entertained by you. But they do for both me and Rick.

Dont make it personal because I don't agree with you. If you wanna hear my thoughts on why Vesey > Buchnevich at this point . Listen to the Pod.

I AM fascinated by masochism.

But alas, I am not masochistic myself.

At what point is it obvious he’s only here to try to drive listeners to his struggling podcast?

People listen to you because it's a hilarious. A parody. A black comedy if you will.

They shell out money to be entertained and tickled by death, disaster, and depression, like in Titus Andronicus.

Oof. Burn.

Get ‘em.

This is truly insane. Has anyone ever watched these two players play the sport of hockey? Is there a carbon monoxide leak in my apartment?

In five years can this still be a joke when Buch is tearing this league apart and Vesey is a third liner who ‘does some stuff kind of good’ ?

I think Pionk and Buch are similar in the way that we scrutinise their performance a bit too much and do not notice when their shortcomings are caused by other players, the system or are part of the maturation process. They both also could do with adding a little bit more muscle and strength and that hip drive (I know hockey players should not be powerlifters etc..).

That being said, Buch has always been twice the player Vesey is. It's the eye-of-the-game, it's the intelligence, it's the passing that makes Buch a very good player who is still growing.

A dude in my fantasy league kept Pionk . Can keep a rookie that played under 40 games . Dude must of made it lol

But in seriousness thank goodness 1 young D is showing he’s solid and a RD even better

This is the funniest thing I’ve read on here in a long time.

I feel like I say this on here every week now.

It’s gonna be a long rebuild if the Mouth is gonna come here trolling every other day with people getting sucked in hook line and sinker every time.

Pretty much how I feel. Pionk and Buch need to get stronger. Vesey could too but it's not as big a problem for him. I don't know if I'd say Buch is twice the player that Vesey is---I would say I think he's a lot better with the puck and he's better away from the puck. Vesey has recently looked better away from the puck but IMO it's one of his biggest issues. He's really not all that responsible defensively. Buchnevich isn't the greatest either but IMO he's quite a bit more responsible than Vesey. Both of them get knocked off their feet too much though Buch is the weaker physically. Buchnevich can make a play from anywhere on the ice---Vesey is not nearly that kind of a player. He could grind the corners harder as in the goal he set up for Lias.

Both go through stretches where they don't do much. Vesey's tend to be more prolonged than Pavel's. Here's one thing though to keep in mind---Vesey is up for a contract for next year. He's going to get a raise---that's pretty automatic but IMO it won't be a break the bank raise. Buchnevich is due after next year. I think Pavel if he continues to make progress is going to end up with at least twice what Vesey gets--maybe more. That's one of the better ways to deciding who is better.
