It will be interesting to see what the 1st quarters in tomorrows playoff games are.

I'd rather have my team come in on a 10 or 11 day break than a 25+ day break

How the hell is that offensive pass interference not called? The Penn State WR probably hit the Boise State DB in the back like 3 or 4 times to knock him over haha.

Time to head into work, but before I go I'd like you guys to hear my impersonation of this color commentator:

"Point of attack. Point of attack. Point of attack. Point of attack. Point of attack."

Penn State covered up the penalty just enough I suppose

I’d be curious who these teams are. I’d also be curious if we’re using at the time of the game or the end of the season ranking.

I’d assume it was at the time of the game but that doesn’t always tell the story. For example Florida State gave two unranked teams a ranked win.

Kotelnicki has to call a better game than the one he did today. He overthought it all game getting away from the run when they were gashing them most of the game. You opened the door for Boise State at times because of it.

The incomplete pass play on 3 & 1 halfway through the 4th was dumb. No reason for that play not to be a run

Their QB played better than I thought he would. He made it interesting for a while there.

Obviously Penn State defensively called a game to put it on him. But they were getting some stuff off play action.

Carter, Reed, & Dennis-Sutton all left the game with injuries so hopefully not too serious.
They were fortunate to be in the game as long as they were without Jeanty rolling, that’s how they were going to win as long as they didn’t make mistakes, and they got neither.

Off the top of my head I can only recall like one time they stuffed Allen at the LOS tonight. It was like on an early down on what essentially was the game winning drive.

Allen ended up 17 carries that game & I still don’t think that was enough the way he was running tonight. 7.9 yards per carry with a long of 23. Singleton more so really changed his night on one play.

Sounds like the Sugar Bowl might get postponed because of a possible terrorist attack in New Orleans.
I imagine that comes down to whether or not the authorities believe there's an ongoing threat to the area. The logistical nightmare of postponing this game would be disastrous for the playoffs considering the schedule is already stretched to the absolute extreme.

For those that were wondering, Bourbon Street has metal barricades that go up at night on either side of the bar/restaurant district that were under repair and out of commission last night. That seems like a mistake that's going to end in a ton of litigation. I would imagine this also puts an end to Bourbon Street as traditional thruway during the day and the whole area will be changed moving forward.

@JojoTheWhale was going to the game, so hopefully he's able to confirm he's all good.

They just identified the guy & believe he might not have been working alone. They recovered two IED’s in two different locations from crash site. So I guess that could muddy the waters if they feel there’s a still a potential lingering threat.

But yeah hopefully Jojo is good.
