Difference in the trenches is stark so far. Indiana would do a lot better with a less physical style of opponent.
ND is overpursuing the strong side pretty heavy right now. And just like that, counter worked.Difference in the trenches is stark so far. Indiana would do a lot better with a less physical style of opponent.
Yeah, what you said lol. ND IS overpursuing the flats a bit from what I've seen. Rourke might not be athletic enough, but he may have to take that 8 yards up the middle tonight to break the tendency. If Indiana isn’t going to threaten the MoF, they’re in trouble. Can’t live on back shoulder junk balls to the sideline against this defense.
Probably a little of both. NBC was horrible at this though. The audio nerds are all over this broadcast. Since this is the first non-NBC ND Home game in so long, they’re trying to figure out if NBC mics the crowd poorly or ABC is juicing this. It sounds much, much louder than usual.

Assuming ND wins, give me the O/U on naked boots/misdirection we see from Bobo next week...I had Indiana as the 3rd most efficient offense in the country this year, just ahead of Ohio St and Penn St. This is significantly more disjointed than they were in the Ohio St game.
