Oregon State has been one of those sneakily better teams than you’d imagine. I guess it’s the West Coast & the fact they were such a doormat for so long in the PAC-12 over the last decade or so. I know a lot of the analytical college football analysts have loved the offense in recent years.

That guy was the bane of my existence cause one of my friends lucked into him the year he broke out. Never drafted him on any of my fantasy teams back in the Yahoo days cause I always had this weird vibe that it wasn't going to work out

2006? A friend cut me in on half of a team in a local high-dollar league that year. We had the 5th pick in a 4 RB draft and liked taking big swings, so our debate was SJax vs Ronnie Brown, despite both having ADPs in the 10-12 range. We went back and forth for two weeks. I must have spent 20 hours researching that one choice. I don’t think I've ever put as much time into a pick. We decided on Ronnie Brown, but barely. I overruled it as we were on the clock and he carried us to a massive payday.

That team was on such a ridiculous heater that we had to spot start a Fullback (Brad Hoover) against the Bucs because the league was so deep and he scored.

SJax forever. Fantasy is dumb as hell.

Yeah 2006. I was obsessed with getting Westbrook and MJD. Freaking Steven Jackson had to be such a good value in a 10 team league in the 5th round. I was mad.

If the favorites win next week it should be imo
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. TCU
4. USC

Rhule to Nebraska makes total sense for everyone involved who wouldn’t get $40MM to stay home.

But Hugh Freeze to Auburn is hilarious. Those two dumpster fires deserve each other.
I think Matt Rhule was an excellent hire by Nebraska, I'm just surprised they were smart enough to do it.

1 loss TCU should be in anyway. Fight me.

I’m a season voter, not a talent one. I don’t want 3 SEC teams in every playoff.
Agreed. Michigan is going to get a lot of praise for winning in Columbus, but I'm not certain they're better than TCU.

It gets weird if USC loses on Friday. I guess it would be Ohio State at number four by default.

Georgia just needs to win and secure their semi-final in Atlanta.

Rhule should have held out for a better job. Nebraska is a 9 win program at best these days. Other than Illinois, that might be the toughest place to recruit to in the P5.

It sounded like Leonhard was going to get it after last weekend but I guess they made enough headway with Fickell since then obviously.

Leonhard’s been pretty loyal to Wisconsin over the years passing up NFL & bigger college jobs interest/offers for a DC role. So perhaps now more than ever he might actually leave. If that’s the case he’ll be a big name in the assistant coaching carousel.

No idea what Auburn is doing. Freeze publicly confirmed reports yesterday he’s been in talks with them. It sounds like a Greg Schiano/Tennessee situation is happening there where’s there’s an outcry from the fanbase whether legit or not in regards to Freeze’s off the field baggage that has thrown a wrench into things there.

Chryst was loyal to UW. How did that work for him?
