Somehow bama will back their way into the 4 spot even though they don't deserve it.

Looking at two B1G teams in the playoffs now? Got to think a 1 loss OSU or UM get in even though one of them doesn't make the conference final

Ohio St has to be in with 1 loss to Michigan. Is the reverse true at this point? I have no idea what the committee does with Oregon. It feels like they lose all 1 loss ties with OSU/Michigan/Tennessee? I would have them way less than 50-50 to be ranked above a 2 loss LSU.

Not that I’m one of those old heads that scream about conference championships matter. But I hate that sometimes you’re better off just not playing a conference championship game & risking your 1 loss margin. Alabama probably would have done that this year if they won tonight.

Obviously if every conference ditched divisions this wouldn’t matter

I know I’m biased and I freely admit they’d get their doors blown off by Bama, but if TCU runs it out, the optics of keeping them out are impossibly bad.
It's literally mid to late 2000s into early 2010s TCU again. I don't want to be suckered back in and slamming the table for them. But it would give me more of a chance to watch Johnston.

They're in if they win out. Can't keep an undefeated B12 team out of the playoffs, this year in particular.

Bring in the @Hollywood Cannon conspiracy theories if they're left out, though.

Ohio State is a lake of bile.

Ohio State - Indiana, at Maryland, Michigan
Michigan - Nebraska, Illinois, at Ohio State
Tennessee - Missouri, at South Carolina, at Vanderbilt

Whoever losses the Ohio State/Michigan would probably have Penn State as their best win. Ohio State does have the Notre Dame win though too which looks better after tonight in regards to resume. Illinois doesn’t look like a potential resume builder after today’s loss to Michigan State. You could have an unranked Big Ten West team in the championship game too. So that’s not really looking like a potential one either.

So that game probably means more for Michigan. If Ohio State losses a close fourth quarter game they might have enough to still make it in with 1 loss over Tennessee.
