Kinda shocking all of the discourse going on with these teams as if people completely forgot that the vast majority of CFP games have been awful historically.

I'm also surprised at how many people don't realize that College Football is decidedly not a cold weather sport. It's a fall sport. Most of these kids have never played a game outdoors in winter before and the first two games were in Indiana and Pennsyltucky.

Even with the northern schools. They might play a game or so at the end of the regular season when it’s really cold & possibly elements.

High school & college football is usually wrapped up before it gets really cold consistently.

Yes but have you thought about how much of an advantage Ohio State will have playing in the cold against Tennessee, as if they're from the tropics?

How is is that YouTube TV allows you to watch multiple screens on your phone, but doesn't allow you to watch multiple screens on the computer? You want me to watch 4 screens on my 6" phone screen but I can't on my 20+" computer?

Yeah, I don't get that point that everyone on ESPN is trying to hype. Knoxville is at the base of the Smoky Mountains. It'll be 30 degrees there at game time and the air is thinner. There are not many places in SEC country where it doesn't get cold in the wintertime. The only difference is it doesn't get that low for as long as it does in the NE or Midwest.

I don’t like Klatt but when he’s right, he’s right.

Nah, Klatt sucks. Lane calling out the committee is fine. They have to own that their two most controversial selections got housed in round one, even if historically the round one games tend to be non-competitive.

I was not a fan of going beyond six teams for this very reason. Last year was the first year in recent memory where there were even more than four legitimate playoff contenders. If it was still four, or even just six, Lane wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Lane’s been whining for months now on twitter though. It’s one thing behind closed doors but to do it on social media? He sounds like a scorned ex-girlfriend at this point.

Like I think Ole Miss is definitely a top 8-10 team but at some point the results have to matter to some degree. Otherwise what’s the point of playing?

I think he’s gotta start seriously pushing for top 3 draft territory.

Top 3 is basically going to come down to how much the Giants and Raiders fall in love with mid-late 1st round QBs. The top of the draft has functionally fallen apart. You basically have two Corners, an IDL, and a RB at the top of consensus. Someone from a premium position has to get in there somewhere.

I don't buy that the NFL is going to like Tetairoa McMillan as much as the draft community does. His releases aren't good enough for an NFL X. He doesn't vary the pace of his routes. I also both don't think he uses his size all that well and expect him to come in lighter than his listed weight. He's already 20 lbs lighter than the guy everyone comps him to was coming out -- Mike Evans.

Counting my draft prediction that was forced by Jojo as a W already. Carter is a top 10 lock at this point unless everyone reaches for a QB.

Edit: Payton is going to LSU?? Well I just lost by default.

That's the play Indiana couldn't find at any point last night. Texas should win, but they definitely don't have the better QB, imo.

I know Sark has a history of loyalty and all of that. But if they think Arch is mentally ready, he's playing the whole game, right? This Texas Defense has a legit claim to being the best unit on either side in the country. Their whole season comes down to QB play.

If they're down by more than one possession at half, I think it's Arch time.

Not sure where he goes but the Eagles need a TE! They didn’t really need him today in the passing game but he blocked his ass off in the run game.

He's in my top 10. I don't think he's available at their 1st, but my word would I love it. Best chance is good but not great testing.

Also saw this and damn near had a heart attack. What a nice change for that program.

I think Warren is gonna probably be in the good to very good athletic range when he tests but he’s completely functional at those numbers.

Franklin has definitely been more aggressive this year in his go for it or not calls. He’s probably gone for it more times on his own side of the field than ever before.
