It’s hard to play good defense when you’re being held on every play.

They definitely got the short end of the stick with calls & non-calls by a good margin but I’m not one to blame losses on refs. It didn’t help but that’s not the main reason they lost.

We’re probably getting a more NFL like uniformed schedule eventually went the SEC & Big Ten further break away from everybody else.

But in the meantime there really is no benefit of scheduling a tough out of conference schedule. It’s been that way for a while now. So I don’t really know why people act surprised.

You shouldn’t get punished for losing a conference championship game. I didn’t think the committee would take SMU. Alabama can cry about it but they lost 2 games where they were 3 TD favorites
