Yeah, that's a tough look even if they were family members of a former teammate and friend.

Still not as bad as the amount of Georgia fans that feel like they're owed a personal apology for the team losing a second game this year. I swear, you would think this fanbase would be more appreciative of the Kirby era given the prior history of the program, but no... This fanbase really is garbage tier, even among the rest of the SEC wackos.

My entire Georgia take this year is the same as last: There's not a job I wouldn't want Todd Monken to fill -- QBC, OC, HC, FBS, NFL, whatever. That man is worth his weight in gold.

Bobo is clearly a step down (or nine) as a play caller from Monken. He just seems to always to run into tendency problems, whereas Monken was so great at keeping opposing defenses off guard. Schematically, they're not that different today, but they clearly have taken a step back at two most important spots (QB where clean distribution to the scheme fit is key) and play caller.

With that said, the personnel on offense is giving me 2019 vibes all over again. They literally do not have an X receiver on the roster thanks to Rara and Young getting booted off the team, no unicorn at TE, and no clear passing threat out of the backfield (Cook and Kenny Mac were huge for Monken). The OL has been really beat up since fall camp, Etienne's been basically non-existent because of suspension/injury and the rest of the WR core seems to be a bunch JAG's with drop issues. Ultimately, I think that ends up saving Bobo's job when Kirby does exit evals on the staff, but this is pretty par the course for Bobo. When the offense has been successful, it's because the personnel overcomes the boxes he puts them in, even going back to the first tenure.

As a whole, the last two years have been pretty sloppy by comparison to most of Kirby's teams. I don't think that's a coincidence as he's moved more towards the CEO role and away from the control freak that sits in on every position group meeting all week. That's fine that he doesn't want to have as much game plan control (that worked out well with Monken). Lord knows he wouldn't last another ten years trying, but he better get the staff hires right. Bobo was lazy, Searels was a C level, and Coley/Williams look like good recruiters but questionable positional coaches (we knew this with Coley already). That's 4 of the last 5 hires.

How is Florida's AD still employed? Hired a women's soccer coach who harassed and physically and verbally abused players leading to lawsuits and like half the team transferring and the guy fired after a season.

Then the women's basketball coach had similar issues. Now the men's basketball coach has multiple female students who shared evidence earlier this year and didn't even get much of an investigation so they talked to the school newspaper and now there's actually attention being paid to the men's basketball coach (Todd Golden) repeatedly showing up to stalk a female student, sending her unwanted dick pics and then another student coming forward as well.

With the President of the University announcing her resignation over the weekend, I wonder if the new President will want to use this as ammunition to make a deal to oust Lincoln Riley?

He sold high. $72M contract (including bonus) over 8 years when Indiana has such a massive fraud schedule lol. Not one top-25 team. I don't think any team they beat is better than 1 game over .500

The middle of the Big Ten is pretty nonexistent this year. Analytic models are much higher on USC than public perception. But that’s about it past the top four teams in the league.

Indiana has at least beat the shit out of everybody on their schedule this year.

Hey wait, isn't the rule that if a toe touches in bounds, but you rock back to your heel out of bounds in a fluid motion, it's incomplete? Wasn't there a weird call earlier in the year about that? Am I just misremembering?

Correct.

Eligible A80 is airborne near the sideline when he receives a legal forward pass. As he comes to the ground facing the field of play, his toe (a) clearly drags the ground inbounds before he falls out of bounds; (b) touches the ground inbounds and then his heel comes down on the sideline in a continuous motion. He maintains firm control of the ball in both cases.

RULING: (a) Complete pass. (b) Incomplete pass. The continuous toe-heel touching is part of a single process and by interpretation he has landed out of bounds, thus not executing a catch.
