He's a complete projection in coverage. Wasn't asked to do it much at all and will need time to sort out Zone responsibilities. That's why I said he's going to need a scheme that plays to his strengths early on.

So much about his profile is weird. Remember that he wasn't close to a full-time player. He played ~55% of snaps in the title game for example. Dean played ~88%.

I wouldn't want to take him high, but if he drops then yes I want to try this experiment.
 


I didn't realize we were already about to see the 3rd generation of Manning QB's in college. This is Cooper Manning's oldest son and will be a high school senior this coming season so NCAA in 2023 and top ranked pro-style QB apparently.
