@CanadianFlyer88 I didn’t go to the game. Never in doubt.

The CFB landscape really needed that, especially with Clemson looking like they’re not on that level anymore. Now hopefully someone like USC or TAMU can get there too.
Happy for you JOJO. My meme from earlier in the year came true:)

Sucks for the kid, probably would have been declaring for the draft right if not for injuries. He was really good as a true freshmen but the injury last year that knocked him out for essentially the whole Covid season seems to have done a number on him.

He just didn’t have his wiggle/first step anymore this year. He got a lot of touches this year (or at least compared to the other backs) despite not having it but probably didn’t like his chances next year with Singleton & Allen coming in.

@JojoTheWhale, Channing Tindall declared today. Thoughts on this guy? I think he's got some ridiculous upside in the right scheme, and he's going to blow up the combine. Any chance he kicks outside at the next level?

When I took him in a mock, Jojo said “mocking Tindall is considered flirting in this household.”

So I think he’s a fan.

Good enough for me lol. Dean's obviously the best of the bunch, but that Georgia LB room was loaded this year, especially before Adam Anderson went all rape accusation mode.

I don’t think he can play right away outside. His only major weakness is that you can see his eye discipline isn’t great. But he’s such a special athlete that I’m not going to say he can’t eventually do whatever you want him to do.

I would imagine he’d be at his best in a scheme like Cleveland’s where he would be asked to make clear, simple coverage reads like sitting on Curl/Hooks. If you’re drafting him highly, you want to let him trigger downhill. He’s super bendy in the ankles too. His Blitzing will play up a level.

He just teleports. I want to be the guy betting on that ability.

He looks more like a little undersized to me.

I guess someone like Darius Leonard is def on the small side at 230-235 is the compare?

My thoughts exactly. I think the eye discipline gets better with more reps, which is why I was selfishly hoping he would come back to be the guy. I mean he was largely buried behind Roquan, Rice, Crowder, Dean and Walker (to a certain extent) until just this year. But he's got too much upside to risk injury to go from a day 2/3 guy to day 1/2. His downhill ability is second to none that I've seen lately.

Meh, he's the same size as Dean, Leonard, and Roquan Smith. He can run and tackle in space. That's the name of game at LB these days, as long as you can get off blocks.

Did he drop into coverage at all? I was just looking at some stats and he didn't have a pass defended all year which seems like kind of a red flag for a LB today.

He's a complete projection in coverage. Wasn't asked to do it much at all and will need time to sort out Zone responsibilities. That's why I said he's going to need a scheme that plays to his strengths early on.

So much about his profile is weird. Remember that he wasn't close to a full-time player. He played ~55% of snaps in the title game for example. Dean played ~88%.
