Good luck to him. A friend moved to Utah and she and her husband aren't mormon, so neighbors, co-workers, and random people were constantly trying to convert them aggressively. When they refused and it became clear they wouldn't budge, people started vandalizing their house.

It’s really not uncommon to have people connected to the program in some way that would have inside access post on these forums. You’d just hope they have temperament & maturity where posting which this guy clearly didn’t have.

Man I cannot believe Penn State wasted this defense this year with an average to below average offense. Even with all the bellyaching about the run defense & being too small in the interior was overblown as they were a top 3 defense against the run this year.

I think this is the best defense of my lifetime, the only ones I can think of off the top of head would 1999 & 2005 be in the conversation. I’d be curious to see what the numbers which suggest.

He did crush it this year far exceeding expectations in a tough spot. He probably did better than Fitzgerald would have.

They got bowl eligible today with a win over Purdue to put them at 6-5 on the year. Braun could win the Big Ten Coach of the Year Award.

One of my hottest sports takes is that Snyder is a top 5 CFB coach ever.

What he did at K State is the hardest thing to do in CFB. He took a major conference school that essentially did not exist despite playing since 1912 and made them into a perennial contender. Twice. This is a program that had 6 All-Americans in SEVENTY years before Snyder. Their historical winning percentage was at 37% when Snyder took the job. Even including a 1-10 season his first year and two dropoffs bad enough to get him fired, Snyder still won 65 bleeping percent of his games in the same conference as Osborne/Solich Nebraska recruiting kids to Manhattan, Kansas. That is impossible. It simply does not happen.

What a time to be alive. They still overachieved on the year even it was on the slighter end by winning 4 games (I don’t think they win against Utah next week, that’s a bad matchup given Utah’s strengths are along the LOS). But the media going in so heavy those first few weeks with outrageous talking points have kind of created a perception now that they didn’t overachieve.
