Thought you guys were crazy with your confidence scores on the Buckeyes this week. They're not good this year.

They're still good. They're just not typical Ohio St good. It's a real wasted opportunity considering that it looks like the defense isn't bad.

Likewise, this is the 2nd best LSU offense and worst LSU defense I've ever seen.

"Good" has a different standard at a certain level of college football.

Alabama isn't good this year either, but they're still good....

I will say this. Locksley has Maryland flying out of the gate every year these days. They inevitably crash and burn, but September Maryland is a thing.

Something I didn't know until very recently was that Taulia Tagovailoa was headed to Utah until Cam Rising got injured and came back. Utah got screwed from every angle with that injury.

Have you seen the size of this guy Sweat for Texas? Holy f***

The flip side of this: Have you seen Texas' Kicker?

They're still good enough to thump UMD. For reasons, I have to support and follow UMD. Theyre impressively coached and play well above their talent level until they run out of gas; but the sheer weight of the talent discrepancy in a matchup like OSU is too much for them.

McCord can thank the D for keeping Maryland at bay long enough to get frustrated. The Terps had chances to bury OSU after the quick start. Easily could have been a different result, despite the final score.

I don't think Maryland can hurt Michigan or PSU. This was their chance to go big game hunting.
