I'd have nothing left for the Knicks. If he's trading KP it would have to be blatantly obvious we are ripping off the other side. I have no faith he would be able to accomplish that.

The saddest part is this a 70 year old man spitefully threatening to trade a 21 yr old, because he dared do anything but bow down.

An adult would have handled the exit interview drama. Nope. They haven't spoken since, and he draws out KP's brother for comment with this crap.

I would trade KP to Boston for #3,the Nets pick in 2018 and Jalyen Brown. #3 and #8 in this draft. The Nets pick will be a top pick. The Knicks pick will be a top pick. Four lottery picks in two years. That's rebuilding. Get rid of Carmelo. Build around Hernangomez,Brown and the picks. Take Josh Jackson at #3. KP is acting like a big baby making demands. Dude,just worry about your own game. He has not played a full 82 game season.

Phil can't be serious. He is the guy they need to start building around. And that starts with trading Carmelo.

All depends what he would get back. Porzingis still has bust potential if he can't stay healthy or develop properly

If the Lakers pick doesn't fall between #2-#5 in 2018,Philadelphia will send Sacramento's #1 in 2019 to Boston. That is the condition. Cut out the middle man and include the Nets #1.

That's the problem I'm having as well. I just don't have trust in Phil Jackson running this team at the moment.

Trading KP is insane, especially after Phil has proven himself to be essentially incompetent at every aspect of running a franchise except the draft. Hopefully they get Monk, maybe Frank, and Phil retires next year.

Thoughts on Dennis Smith? He's a pure PG and has a lot of talent. I feel like he's being overlooked by a lot of Knicks fans.

Markkanen visited in New York and he met Phil Jackson.
Of course this not necessarily mean that Knicks is drafting Markkanen.

And the team that reportedly loves Markkanen is the T'Wolves. I've seen it speculated that the Markkanen interest is a smokescreen to keep the T'Wolves from trading with Dallas who wants to move up and grab Frankie France.
