Mostly your post is correct, but this last bit - have you watched this series? The refs are never putting Wemby in foul trouble. He literally fouls every play, and should have at least one flagrant in each of these games.

Make it egregious then. Like Dolan going to the media and going to Adam Silver and telling him he's hiring Ernst and Young to carry out an independent investigation into the officiating.

The officiating has been horrific both ways. The number of calls overturned on both ends by challenges is evidence of that.

Don't even get me started on the obvious goaltending on Wemby against Shamet at the end of the game.

At the end of the day, the Spurs made their shots in the 4th and the Knicks couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and that was the difference. They need to adjust and work the ball into the paint more and open up cutting lanes for Brunson and OG for the two point balls. Wear down Wemby, pull him to the perimeter and work it to OG whom the Spurs have zero answer for. He's the X factor if the Knicks are going to win this series.

The Knicks lost because San Antonio always had an answer. Give credit where credit is due. They were on the ropes late in the 2nd quarter and responded with a better 3rd right off the hop. They played like they knew the 3rd was their season, which it was.
The coach used his TOs when he sensed a Knicks run. The whole world called Wemby a choker who was getting schooled by the veteran Towns. Very easily could have wilted under that kind of pressure but did the opposite. Big shot after big shot. Spurs came to play, Knicks didn’t. Refs suck ass but so did the Knicks bench. Shamet was terrible on both ends.

Game 4 will determine the series winner IMO.

Brunson is having a good, hell of a series, all things considered. The Spurs defense is legit harassing him each game. He's also a reason the Knicks won games 1 and 2 with his clutch shots late in the 4th.

Each team gets a maximum of 2. Without challenges the Knicks get zero FT in the second half of g2. The biggest problem I have is that if a team keeps winning challenges they can "run out" and still be charged a time out.

I think it's just weird shit that gets challenged and it seems like it gets challenged every game. In hockey the plays are far less judgment calls and more consequential.
