Does anyone else HATE how many challenges there are in basketball now? Other than baseball that I only "watch" when invited to games (I'm in my phone all game), no other league is that ridiculous with it.
The problem with this is that the Knicks literally need to rely on challenges to even have a fair game at this point.

And there doesn't seem to be any limit as to what can be challenged.

Wemby gets away with being KAT's proctologist because he was so far up his ass before supposedly KAT hooked him on the rebound.

You can make the case it should be 2 to 1 Spurs.
You could really make the case it could be 30 spurs- the Knicks were thoroughly played for 3 quarters in game one.

24-8 FT disparity in the 2nd half. Every quarter there are multiple team fouls right away, and/or the Spurs are in the bonus before the quarter is halfway through. It makes it very tough to play your game or defend when you're constantly in foul trouble right away. 4th quarter was an absolute joke to start. 3 pretty soft calls to start and then 2 non calls on shooting fouls the other way. The Wemby shove to Brunson, that even the sleeping guy saw, set the tone that Wemby could do whatever he wanted.

Knicks need to be better, for sure, but this is ridiculous. Brown called them out, but I'm not holding my breath for any changes. 3 games now, it's clear what the league wants.

This was a horrendous no call

But i don't wanna hear about game being "rigged" and disparity in free throws. The spurs were dribble penetrating and getting great looks near the rim most of the night, Knicks werent. That pretty much explains it.

They got outplayed.

The Knicks need to do the same. The Spurs adjusted and put on more pressure on the perimeter and took more open 3 balls away.

Get the ball to OG and Towns and let them bully in the paint. Towns has been feeding Wemby his lunch all series in the paint. Play at him and let him get in foul trouble early.

Good, take the fine, get us a better whistle next game. That was stupefyingly atrocious. The NBA is screwing up this huge opportunity to lock in millions of eyeballs that are coming back this playoffs - the viewership is growing massively for the first time in a decade. Officiating like we saw last night is wasting an opportunity for the league as a whole. New/returning viewers won't stick around for something that's so blatantly fixed.

Spurs literally have "be dirty" as their gameplan. Time to send in Diawara to give Wemby a Goldberg spear.

Each team gets a maximum of 2. Without challenges the Knicks get zero FT in the second half of g2. The biggest problem I have is that if a team keeps winning challenges they can "run out" and still be charged a time out.
